Abu Ku Dairy Farm Private Limited is located at Murtem House in Chandranagar. We are quite close to Gyan-Ganga School, so we hear the kids playing during their breaks. It is a busy little corner of Itanagar here in Papum Pare. Running a dairy farm isn't easy, there are early mornings and late nights involved every single day. The cows don't take holidays, so neither do we. We mostly focus on getting the milk out to people while it is still fresh. Working out of Murtem House gives us a good base to reach different parts of the capital. Sometimes the traffic in Chandranagar gets a bit backed up, which can be a headache when we are trying to move things quickly. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us making sure the animals are healthy and the dairy is clean. People in the neighborhood know us by name. We’ve lived in Arunachal Pradesh our whole lives, so we understand the weather and the terrain. It gets very rainy here, and that changes how we have to handle the farm. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay organized. If you're near the school, you’re not far from where we do our work. It is a lot of physical labor, but seeing the bottles filled up makes it worth it.
