Our facility is tucked away in the village of Ganguwala, which is over in the Sirmour district. It is a bit far out from the big cities, but that is where we have been for a long time. This is one of the spots for Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited. Being in a village means the pace is a little different than a city office. We have a lot of locals who work with us here. The surroundings are quite green and it can be a bit quiet on the roads leading up to the site. We spend our days managing the laboratory work and keeping an eye on the production lines. There is a lot of machinery and it needs constant checking to make sure it's all running right. The village doesn't have much in the way of big stores, so we mostly stick to our work area. Sometimes the weather in Sirmour makes transport a bit slow, especially when it rains heavily. We have to plan ahead for that. The buildings are practical and built for the job, nothing too pretty to look at. We focus on the technical details and making sure the batches are done correctly. It is a lot of routine work, checking temperatures and logs. We are just a part of the local landscape now. It's a steady place to work and we just focus on getting the day's tasks finished properly.
