Himalya International Limited

We are located out in Shubhkhera, near Paonta. It’s a different pace of life here compared to the big cities. Himalya International Limited has been a part of this area for a long time. The facility is quite large because of what we do. You can see the hills in the distance on clear days. Most of the people working here live nearby in the local villages. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of the production lines. We deal with a lot of produce and freezing units. The noise from the machinery is something you just get used to after the first week. We have shifts running at different times so there is always someone around. The road leading up to us can get a bit dusty in the summer. We have a small canteen where everyone sits together during the breaks. It’s not a formal place at all. We wear our work gear and just get on with it. Sometimes the weather affects how we work, especially when the rains are heavy. We don't have a fancy reception area. It’s more of a practical workspace. We’ve grown over the years but the way we talk to each other hasn't changed much. It’s just regular people trying to do a good job with the food processing. We take care of the machines and they take care of us. It is a simple way of working that seems to suit everyone here just fine.
