P. D. Earth Movers

Our office is on the second floor of Shanti Center in Panvel West. It’s part of the Middle Class Housing Society area. We deal with earth movers and heavy machinery, though the office itself is just where we handle the billing and the phone calls. Most of the real action happens out on the construction sites where the machines are actually digging. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where the drivers need to go and making sure the fuel is topped up. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes. Panvel is growing fast, so there is always a lot of dirt to move somewhere. We aren't a big fancy company with a polished image. We’re just local people who know how to run these machines. Our office is simple, just some chairs and a few filing cabinets. Sometimes the machines break down and we have a stressful day, but that’s part of the job. We don’t have any slick sales pitches. If you need a hole dug or a site cleared, we tell you if we have a machine available and what it will cost. It's pretty straightforward. We've been in this spot for several years now, and the neighbors know us by now. We just try to keep the machines busy and our customers satisfied with the work we do out on the field. It’s a living.
