Laxmi Electronics

Our shop, Laxmi Electronics, is tucked away in the Metro Industrial Premises Co-Op Society. We are at 14B, which is off Uran Road. If you know the area in Panvel, we are right behind the Maharashtra Saw Mill near the Market Yard. You can usually smell the fresh wood from the mill when the wind blows the right way. It’s a bit of a maze getting back here sometimes with all the trucks moving in and out of the yard, but we’ve been in this unit for quite some time. The space inside is mostly filled with parts and tools. It’s not a showroom where everything is shiny; it’s a working shop where things actually get fixed or put together. We spend most of our hours over the workbenches under the fluorescent lights. Some days are quieter than others, especially when the market yard is closed, but usually, there's a lot of clatter from the neighbors. We’ve got a small team here, and everyone knows where every single screw and wire is kept, even if it looks like a mess to someone walking in for the first time. Being in an industrial society like this means we’re surrounded by people who do real work with their hands. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or decorating the front office. We just focus on the electronics brought to us and try to get them sorted out properly for whoever needs them.
