Chirag Marble

You can find Chirag Marble over in the Cidco Service Industrial Area, specifically in Section 1, Plot 34 on Road Number 4. It’s right in the heart of New Panvel’s industrial zone. Being in a service area means we are surrounded by other workshops and businesses, so there is always a lot of noise and movement. We’ve been here for a good while, mostly focusing on marble slabs. The yard is where we spend most of our time, moving the heavy pieces around with the lifter. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like being part of the local building trade. We get a lot of workers and contractors coming in looking for specific sizes. We don’t do any fancy advertising; people usually find us because they’re already in the industrial area for something else. The shop is pretty straightforward with stone slabs everywhere you look. We try to keep things as organized as possible, but it’s hard when you’re constantly getting new loads in. We deal with the paperwork in a small corner of the shed. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing around in the heat, but that’s just the nature of the business. We focus on having the stock ready when someone needs it. We’ve seen the area grow a lot over the years, and we’re still here just doing the same daily routine of cutting and moving stone slabs.
