Our place is tucked away in Old Panvel, right behind the Ashirwad Mangal Karyalaya on Shivaji Road. If you know the Ashirwad Apartment block, that’s where we are located. Working in Taloja and the surrounding Panvel area means dealing with a lot of industrial movement. There’s always a truck or a tempo moving something somewhere. We focus on glass, which is what Asahi India Glass Ltd does across the country. Here at our specific branch, it’s mostly about managing the stock and making sure the local glass needs are met. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time checking sheets for scratches or chips because that’s the main thing that goes wrong with glass. It gets pretty hot here during the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day. Sometimes people have a hard time finding us because we are behind the marriage hall, but once they find the Shivaji Road entrance, it's fine. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls ourselves; we are more of a working site where things actually happen. The team is small, just a few of us making sure the paperwork matches what's in the back. It’s honest work and we just take it one day at a time without much fuss. There is always someone here to check the deliveries.
