L & T

Our place is located at 112/120 on the Virudhachalam - Cuddalore Road. We are part of the Kvr Nagar area in Neyveli. L & T has been operating from this address for a good while. It’s a dusty stretch of road, especially when the big trucks go past heading toward Cuddalore. We spend a lot of time in the yard or in the small office space we have here. There is always some kind of noise happening, whether it's construction sounds or just the wind blowing across the open ground. We get to work pretty early before the sun gets too hot. Neyveli can be a tough place to work when the heat really kicks in during the summer months. We have a lot of equipment coming in and out, so the gates are usually open. It isn't a very fancy setup, just some functional buildings and a lot of space for storage and staging. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to get things done without too much fuss. The staff here are mostly locals who know the roads well. We don't really have a lot of visitors unless they have business with the project. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but that is just the nature of what we do at this location. We just keep things moving along as best we can every single day. That's the way it's been for us.
