Rupin Organics

Our place is right at number 158, very close to the private bus stand here in Aruvathoklu. Being near the buses means there is always something going on outside our doors. It’s a convenient spot for us because people are always passing through. We started Rupin Organics without much of a plan other than wanting to work for ourselves. The building isn't the newest, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We spend a lot of time organizing things and talking to whoever stops by. Aruvathoklu is a small enough area where you get to know the regulars. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. We mostly just rely on people seeing us when they get off the bus or walk by on their way to the market. It can get a little noisy with the traffic, but you get used to it after a week or two. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks. We try to keep the shelves tidy, though things get messy when we are busy. It’s just the reality of running a small business. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that, just this one spot near the stand. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. We’re just glad to be a part of the local scene here. Sometimes the rain makes the walk from the bus stand muddy, but we just sweep the floor and keep going to stay ready for the day.
