Sandu Pharmaceuticals Ltd

Working out here in Pilerne Industrial Estate is quite a routine. Our place, Sandu Pharmaceuticals Ltd, is right opposite the Unicam Laboratory. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly trucks and people in uniforms moving around. We have been in these plots, 25, 26, 29, and 30, for a long time. The building isn't brand new, but it holds everything we need to get through the day. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of machines and people checking labels. It’s a pharmaceutical place, so things have to stay clean and orderly, but we aren't robots. We have our lunch breaks in the small corner and talk about the traffic on the way in. Pilerne can get crowded, especially during shift changes. We handle a lot of different products here. It’s a lot of manual checking and making sure the boxes are stacked right. We don't have a big marketing team sitting in fancy chairs. It’s just us, the staff, making sure the orders are ready to go out to the chemists and distributors. Sometimes the heat in the warehouse gets to you, but we just keep the fans going and stay on top of the list. It’s honest work. We’ve seen the estate change over the years, more buildings coming up, but our spot stays the same. Just a bunch of people doing their jobs day in and day out for the locals.
