International Travel Bureau

International Travel Bureau is our small setup in Panaji, Goa. We don't have a complicated address; everyone just knows us as being here in the heart of the city. Being in Goa, you would think we spend all day at the beach, but we are actually stuck inside the office most of the time. We help people figure out their travel plans, whether they are looking to go abroad or just need a train ticket to another state. It is a lot of checking schedules and waiting for bookings to go through. Panaji is a beautiful place to work, though, with all the old buildings and the river nearby. We get a mix of locals who need to travel for work and tourists who are a bit lost and need help getting to their next destination. We aren't a giant online site; we are just a few people sitting behind desks trying to make travel a bit less stressful for everyone who walks through our door. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to do things the old-fashioned way over the phone. We've been around for quite a few years and have seen how travel has changed, but the basics stay the same. People want to get somewhere, and we help them do it. It is a quiet existence for the most part, except during the peak holiday seasons when things get a little frantic in the office and the phones never seem to stop ringing for a single minute. We just keep at it.
