You can find us over at Dempo Towers in the Patto Plaza area of Panjim. It’s one of those busy parts of Goa where everyone always seems to be in a bit of a rush to get somewhere. Our branch of Oriental Bank Of Commerce sits right in the middle of all that daily activity. The building is tall and has a lot of other offices inside, so there’s always people coming and going from the elevators at all hours. We spend most of our time behind the counters or at our desks, dealing with the daily flow of paperwork and the customers who walk in. Panjim has that nice river breeze sometimes, but inside Patto Plaza, it’s mostly just the hum of the air conditioning. It’s a professional environment, but we try to keep it friendly for everyone. We know a lot of the regulars who come in every week to do their business. It’s not like those movies where everything is shiny and perfect. We have our slow days and our days where the lines go all the way out the door. We just try to get through the work without making any mistakes. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we’ve seen the area grow and change quite a bit. Being in Dempo Towers means we’re easy to locate if you’re in the capital. It’s a solid place to work, even if the commute through Panjim traffic is a headache.
