Sunshine School

Sunshine School is right in Village Kutail, not far from the Indane Gas Agency. If you are coming from Karnal, you follow the road out toward the Po-Kutail area. It’s easy to spot us because of the big gas trucks that are always moving around nearby. The school is a modest place, just a few buildings set back from the main path. I usually arrive before the sun gets too high to make sure everything is ready for the day. The village is a quiet place for the most part, except for the sound of the machinery over at the agency. We have a small yard where the kids can run around during their breaks, though it gets quite dusty in the summer heat. Most of the families in Kutail know us well, and we’ve seen many brothers and sisters come through these doors over the years. We don't have any fancy equipment or a big office; it’s just a bunch of rooms with chalkboards and wooden desks. The teachers here are local folks who understand what it’s like to live in this part of Karnal. We spend our afternoons grading papers and drinking tea while the noise of the village hums in the background. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just focus on showing up every day and helping the kids with their daily schoolwork without making a big fuss about anything.
