We operate out of Baljeet Nagar. Our setup is through Subhash Gupta’s place here. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone is pretty close together. We do crafts and related work. It’s not a big corporate setup with signs and glass doors. It’s more of a neighborhood operation. We use the space we have to get things done. Baljeet Nagar has narrow streets and it can get quite crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home. We’ve got our supplies tucked away in different corners of the rooms. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of materials arriving at once. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or anything like that. We just focus on making things. Most of the people working here are from nearby. We have our own way of doing things that might seem a bit disorganized to an outsider, but it works for us. We know where every tool and piece of material is kept. The atmosphere is just like any other house or small workshop in this part of town. We drink chai together in the afternoons and talk about the day’s work. It’s a very human way to run a business. We don't have a big front office. If you want to find us, you just ask for Subhash Gupta’s place. We’ve been part of this community for a while and we just keep doing our craft work every day. It's just a simple life here.
