Morus Shop

Morus Shop is located out on Jattal Road. To get here, you have to go beyond both canals, which is a bit of a drive if you're coming from the center of town. We are right by Shanti Chowk. The area is usually a bit dusty because of all the trucks passing by, but it’s a good spot for us. We opened up here because the rent was fair and there was enough space for all the stock we keep. It’s a simple shop. We don’t have any neon signs or anything like that. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or work at the shops down the road. Inside, we have shelves lined with various items. It’s a bit of a mix, really. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when things get a bit busier. We often sit outside on stools when it's quiet, watching the traffic go toward the canals. Shanti Chowk has changed a lot since we first moved in, with more buildings going up, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just open the doors in the morning and wait to see who comes in. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we usually know who does. It's just a normal local business trying to keep things going day by day while the world moves past outside.
