You can find us at No. 8 in New Lajpat Colony, which is right near Geeta Mandir. It’s a decent spot, though the road can get a bit narrow when people park their scooters badly. We’ve been here for years, dealing with all sorts of woollens. The building smells faintly of raw wool and old paper, which is something you just stop noticing after the first week. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with sweaters and blankets and heavy cloth. It gets really busy here when the weather starts to turn cold. That’s when we’re constantly moving boxes and checking our lists. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of layers. Usually, if you call, you’re talking to one of us who is actually standing in the warehouse. We don’t have a fancy reception desk. Most of the time, there are just threads on the floor and empty boxes waiting to be recycled. Parth Woollen International is a simple operation. We know our products and we know where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit disorganized to an outsider. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding the turn-off, so we have to go out and wave them down. It’s just part of the daily routine. We like being near the Mandir; it makes the neighborhood feel a bit more peaceful. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out.
