Parasram

Parasram is just a small place located at No. 3-4 on Geeta Mandir Road. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded during the festival times. We have been sitting here on this stretch of road for a long time. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it serves the purpose for what we do every day. We open the shutters every morning and start setting things up. It is mostly just routine work. We see the same people walking to the temple and the rickshaws going back and forth all day long. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. That is just life on Geeta Mandir Road. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything stays in order. The shelves are usually full and we try to remember where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. It gets dusty because of the road traffic, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It is a local business and we like being part of this community. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until night. We just keep our heads down and do the job as it comes.
