We are situated behind the Gaushala Mandi on Gohana Road. It’s a bit of a dusty area with a lot of trucks moving in and out, which makes sense for what we do. Our building is a solid, functional space where we handle all our textile work. There is usually the sound of machinery or heavy lifting going on nearby. It’s not a place for fancy suits or polished floors. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of lint on. Most of our day is spent looking at piles of fabric and checking the weave or the weight of the material. We have to be careful with the details because that’s what our work is all about. Sometimes the cows from the nearby gaushala make a bit of noise, and the road can be bumpy for the delivery vans. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write glossy brochures. We just talk to our suppliers and customers directly. It’s a very straightforward way of doing business. We spend a lot of time on the floor, not behind a desk. We eat our lunch quickly and get back to the stacks. There is always a new shipment coming in or an old one going out. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a while now. We just focus on the fabric and the deadlines.
