Amar Overseas

Our office is located right off NH-58 in Modinagar, at No. 1903 in the Hudda Sector 12 area. Being so close to the highway means we see a lot of trucks and traffic passing by at all hours. Amar Overseas is a small operation that deals with trade and logistics. The building is pretty standard for this area—nothing too fancy, just some brick and concrete. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow. We spend a lot of our time coordinating between suppliers and transport companies. It’s not always easy, especially when there’s a breakdown or a delay on the road. The fans hum constantly to keep the dust away from the electronics. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to greet you with a coffee. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us buried under some paperwork. We take our lunch breaks at the little dhabas along the highway when we have the time. The work is mostly about staying on top of the details and making sure nothing gets lost in transit. It can be a bit tedious, but it’s how we make a living. We’ve been in Modinagar for a while now and know the local transporters pretty well. We just keep our heads down and try to make sure everything gets to where it’s going. The routine is the same every day.
