Our place is on the first floor right on G T Road in Panipat. It’s quite easy to find once you spot Subhash Book Depot. We are also close to Hotel West, so there’s always a lot of activity around here. Being on the first floor means we can look down at the traffic on the main road while we work. It’s a noisy spot but it's where all the action is. Panipat is a fast town and G T Road is the heart of it. We spend most of our time dealing with bookings and talking to drivers. It’s not a polished corporate office. We have some old desks and a lot of papers scattered around. We’ve been in this building for a while and the people at the book depot downstairs are like neighbors to us. Sometimes travelers stay at the hotel nearby and walk over to ask about cars. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just try to get people where they need to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the traffic on G T Road makes everything late, and we just have to explain that to whoever is waiting. It’s just how it is in this part of town. Living and working on G T Road means you're always in the middle of everything. It can be a bit much sometimes, but at least we're never bored. We’ve made a lot of friends in the building and the neighboring shops, which makes the long days go by a bit faster.
