If you're driving along G.T. Road near Samalkha, you’ll find L C Fasteners Pvt. Ltd. right near the Yamuna Filling Station. It’s a convenient spot because we get a lot of trucks passing through. We basically make all the small things that hold bigger things together. Bolts, nuts, screws, that kind of stuff. The workshop is usually pretty loud with the sound of metal hitting metal. It’s oily and smells like a machine shop, which I guess is what it is. We’ve been operating here for a while and most of the guys in the shop know the machines inside out. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a front office and the production area in the back where the real work happens. Sometimes things get a bit messy when we have a big order to get out, but we manage. Being near the petrol pump means it’s easy for people to find us. We don't spend money on big ads; we just focus on making sure the fasteners we produce are strong enough for whatever they're needed for. It's repetitive work, but it's important. We see a lot of regular faces coming in to pick up supplies. It’s just a local business trying to do things the right way. We take our time with the setups to make sure the threads are clean. Nothing too special, just a bunch of us working. We keep the machines oiled and the bins full.
