Kuldeep Feeds Private Limited

Our business, Kuldeep Feeds Private Limited, is located in Village Bandh, which is in the Israna tehsil. We make animal feed for the local livestock, which means we spend our days around big grinders and piles of grain. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, you usually have it in your hair and clothes. We use the space here in the village to mix the different ingredients like maize and soy. The farmers from around Israna come by with their trailers to pick up bags for their buffaloes and cows. We don't really have a big marketing plan; word of mouth in the village is how most people find us. My brother and a couple of guys from down the road do most of the heavy lifting. The machinery can be loud and sometimes it breaks down right when we have a big order to finish. We just do our best to get it fixed and keep moving. The weather affects us a lot because if it’s too humid, the grain can spoil, so we have to be really careful about storage. It’s a simple operation, really. We don’t have any fancy titles or a big corporate structure. We just want to make sure the animals in the area have something decent to eat so the farmers can keep their livelihoods going. It’s just plain, hard work every day of the week for us.
