Kesar Mobile Clinic

Our address is listed as Street No 1 in Gawalra, but since we are a mobile clinic, we aren't always sitting in one spot. We spend a lot of time out in the van, moving around the different parts of Gawalra to reach people who can't easily get to a fixed hospital. The van is basically our second home. It’s packed with supplies, a small bench, and the basics for first aid and checkups. It gets pretty hot in the summer months inside the vehicle, but we keep the windows down when we can. Street No 1 is where we keep our main supplies and do the admin work that everyone hates. It’s a small, dusty street and everyone knows our van when they see it driving by. We don't have a fancy waiting room; usually, people just wait in line outside the van wherever we are parked that day. It’s a bit of an informal way to do medicine, but it works for this area. We see a lot of people with minor things that just need a bit of attention before they get worse. We don't have any big corporate backing or flashy signs. Just a white van and a couple of us trying to be useful to the people living out here. It’s a lot of driving and a lot of talking to people on their doorsteps. That’s just how we operate.
