We are located right on Barsat Road, not too far from the Angel Prime Mall. It is a funny spot because you have got the big mall and then you have got us near the Chungi area. We work with textiles, which means there is always lint and thread everywhere in the air. Huda Colony is a good place for a business like ours. We have got rolls of fabric stacked up to the ceiling in some parts of the warehouse. It is a bit of a maze if you do not know your way around. We do not have a fancy display window. Most people just walk in through the side door. We spend a lot of time checking the dye lots and making sure the weaving is okay. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, which is frustrating. We have got a few old sewing machines that still run better than the new ones. We talk to a lot of tailors and small shop owners who need bulk stuff. It is a lot of haggling and drinking chai while we look at samples on the table. We have been here for years, and the road has gotten much busier. We remember when the mall was not even there. We just keep doing our thing, measuring out meters of cloth and packing them up for the transport guys. It is not fancy but it works.
