Our factory is at E-1 in the industrial area. It’s a big space because you need a lot of room when you’re working with wool. At Jindal Woollen Industries Ltd., the machines are the main thing you notice. They’re loud and they take up most of the floor. There’s always a bit of a woolly mist in the air, and you’ll definitely end up with some fibers on your clothes if you stay for more than a minute. It’s an industrial setup, so it’s more about function than anything else. We don't have a fancy lobby or a team of people in ties. We’re usually in our work gear, keeping the machines running and making sure the wool is being processed right. The industrial area isn't the prettiest place, but it’s where the real work happens. We’ve been at the E-1 plot for a long time and we know all the other business owners nearby. We don’t spend our time writing mission statements or doing promotional events. We just focus on the production and making sure the orders are ready when they should be. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and the factory can get quite cold in the winter, which is ironic given what we make. But we just put on an extra layer and keep at it. That's just how the days go for us here in the industrial area.
