Orion Industries

Our place is at Shop 379 in Sector-25, Part-1 of the Huda area. It’s an industrial part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from machines and trucks moving nearby. We spend most of our hours inside the shop handling whatever orders come through that day for Orion Industries. The walls are a bit dusty because of all the activity around here, but we try to keep the workspace organized enough to get things done. There is a small desk in the corner where the paperwork stays, though it usually ends up buried under some tools or parts. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. It’s not a large space, but we make it work by stacking things high. Sometimes we stay late when a big job needs finishing, and the street outside gets quiet. Coffee runs are pretty common, especially in the mornings when it’s still a bit cool out. We deal with various materials and parts throughout the week. It’s a hands-on kind of environment. You won't find any fancy carpets or air conditioning here, just a lot of metal and the smell of oil. Most people who come by are regulars from the other units in Huda. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. Every day brings something slightly different to fix or move.
