About Hanuman Iron Foundry – Metals & Minerals in Panipat
Our foundry is right there on G. T. Road in Samalkha, specifically near National Highway-1. Being so close to the highway means it’s always busy and there’s a lot of dust from the road. Working with iron is a hot and dirty job, and the condition of our place reflects that. The walls are darkened from the furnaces and sand is everywhere from the molds we use. We’ve been running Hanuman Iron Foundry for a long time, and we don’t really go in for any of that modern corporate style. It’s just a place where we melt metal and pour it into shapes. Handling the heat can be a lot, especially during the middle of the day, but you get used to it after a few years. We have a small crew and everyone knows their roles. Because the machines and the fires are too loud anyway, there isn't much talk while we're working. When a big order comes in, we might stay late into the evening to get it finished, and then the highway looks different in the dark. A website or anything like that isn't something we have. People just know we are the ones on G. T. Road who handle the heavy iron work. Making a living this way is tough, but it’s honest and it keeps the lights on. Focusing on the iron and the next pour is what we do every single day.
