About Handloom Textiles – Fashion & Trends in Panipat
We've been at Plot No. 13 in Batra Colony for a good while now. It’s right near Shastri Chowk, so most folks around here know where we are. Dealing with handloom textiles isn't easy work, but it's what we do every day. The machines make a lot of noise when they are running. We spend most of our time looking at threads and checking the weave on the cloth. It gets dusty in the workshop sometimes. Sometimes customers just walk in to see what we are working on that week. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a workspace with enough room for the looms and some storage for the finished rolls. The traffic near Shastri Chowk can be a bit much in the evenings, so we usually try to get our loading done early in the morning. Some of the guys have been working these looms for years. They know the rhythm of the machines better than anything. We mostly focus on getting the orders right and making sure the fabric is strong. It's not a fast process. You have to watch the threads carefully or the whole thing gets messed up. We keep the doors open when it's hot to get a bit of a breeze. People in Batra Colony are used to us being here. It’s just a regular local business, nothing more. We just keep our heads down and work on the next batch of textiles.
