GJBKA BENEFIT NIDHI LIMITED

This office sits right in Bagh Wala Mohalla, not far from the Shiv Mandir here in Samalkha. If you know the area, you know it gets quite crowded near the temple during festivals. We are based at Vijay Shah’s place. GJBKA Benefit Nidhi Limited is basically just us helping local folks with their savings and small loans. It’s a Nidhi company, so we only work with our members. It’s not a fancy setup at all. We have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of registers to keep track of everything. The 132101 area is where we’ve grown up, so we know most people who walk through the door by their first name. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but we’re used to it. We handle the daily deposits and the occasional gold loan when someone needs a bit of help with a wedding or a medical bill. There’s no corporate talk here. We just speak in the local language and try to get the math right. It’s practical work. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. Most people find us because their cousin or neighbor told them we were honest people. Working out of Samalkha keeps us close to the ground. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a small, local operation and we like it that way. We don't need much more than our ledger and some good coffee.
