Gannon Dunkerley & Co., Ltd

Working out of the Grasim Industries area in Panipat keeps us pretty busy. Pravin Kumar Pravin is the one usually looking after things here at the Gannon Dunkerley & Co., Ltd office in Village Karad. It is a bit of a drive out to Teh Israna, but it’s where the work is. Since we are right there with Grasim, there is always plenty of activity. It’s a bit industrial, as you might expect. The dust from the roads gets everywhere, so the office never stays clean for long no matter how much we sweep. We deal with a lot of different contractors and deliveries. Some days it is just constant phone calls and checking manifests. It isn’t glamorous. We have a few desks and some basic equipment to keep track of the projects. Haryana summers are tough, so we rely on the old fans a lot. We don't have a PR team or anyone to make us look big. We are just a local team trying to stay on top of the schedule. If you need someone, you usually have to catch us between site visits. We spend more time in our boots than in the office chairs anyway. That’s just the nature of the business in this part of the country. It’s loud, it’s messy, and there is always a truck idling outside, but it is our daily life and we are used to it by now.
