Friends Fitness

Our gym is situated at 18, Jattal Road. We are right opposite the Handfeb A Living Gate No. 2, in Mahavir Colony. It’s a good spot because people can find us easily once they see the gate. We aren't one of those high-end fitness centers with fancy lights and juice bars. We’re more of a traditional place where people come to sweat and lift weights. The floor is covered in rubber mats and there’s usually the sound of iron plates clanging together. We have some fans going, but it still gets pretty warm when the room is full. People in Mahavir Colony are friendly, and we have a mix of younger guys and older folks who have been coming here for years. We opened Friends Fitness because we liked the idea of having a place close to home. It’s not always perfectly clean—there’s always some chalk dust or a stray weight lying around—but it’s a real place for real people. We spend our time checking the equipment and helping people with their form when they ask. Jattal Road can get a bit congested in the evenings, but it’s part of the local vibe. We don’t use any complicated systems to track members, just a simple log and a bit of trust. It’s a straightforward gym for anyone who wants to get a workout in without any of the extra fuss you see in the big chains. We like it that way.
