FORMATION ARCHITECTS is up on the first floor at 48, Lal Tanki Market in Model Town. If you know where the market is, we’re right there in the middle of all the activity. It’s a lively spot to work in, especially in the evenings when the market really picks up. Our office is fairly simple. We have our drafting tables and our computers set up in a way that makes it easy to talk to each other across the room. We don't really believe in cubicles or walls inside the office. It’s better to just be able to yell out a question when you have one. We spend a lot of our time looking at site photos or arguing about which material is going to hold up better over time. It’s practical work. We’ve been at this location for a while and we like being part of the Model Town community. You see the same faces every day, from the shopkeepers downstairs to the people who live nearby. It makes the workday feel a bit more connected to the real world. We aren't looking to become some global brand. We just like designing things and seeing them actually get built. If you head up to the first floor at number 48, you’ll see we’re just a regular bunch of people trying to make a living doing what we know how to do.
