Davinder Kapoor

You can find me at number 124 in the Hari Bagh Colony area of Panipat. This is more of a quiet neighborhood compared to the city center, which I find helps me stay concentrated on the work at hand. My office is basically just a room where I keep all my books and papers. It isn't anything fancy, and I haven't spent much time on decor. I’m usually sitting at the desk from early morning until late afternoon, working through different accounts and trying to stay on top of all the paperwork that comes in. Most of the folks who visit are people from around the colony or small business owners who prefer coming to a quieter location. We sit down and go over their records together. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside or you can hear the local vegetable vendor passing by, but that is just part of life here in Hari Bagh. I like the fact that people can just drop in without feeling like they have to dress up or follow some strict corporate protocol. It’s a very grounded way to work. I handle a lot of different things, from basic bookkeeping to more complicated stuff, and I just take it as it comes. It has been my base for a long time, and I’ve gotten to know the families around here pretty well. It feels more like a community than just a place of business. It’s a good place to be.
