Capital Woollen & General Mills

We've been here at No. 5 in the Industrial Area for quite a while now. Most people know us as Capital Woollen & General Mills. It’s a busy spot, always something moving or a machine running. We handle a lot of wool and different mill work. It’s not the fanciest place, just a regular shop where we get the work done. Some days it’s loud, and there’s always dust from the fabrics, but that’s just how it is. We deal with all sorts of general mill stuff too. If you're looking for us, just head down to the main industrial stretch. You can't really miss it because of the noise. The walls have seen better days, and the floor is stained, but the machines still run fine. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, more trucks now than there used to be. It’s a tight-knit area. Everyone knows everyone’s business here. We don't spend much time on fancy offices or desks. Most of us are out on the floor making sure the wool is right. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We just focus on the orders we have. People come by for different things, and we try to help out where we can. It's just honest work day in and day out. Nothing more to it than that really. We are just a local mill doing our bit.
