Bharat Marble House

Bharat Marble House is located right by the Power House on G. T. Road in Samalkha. If you know the area, you know how busy the G.T. Road stays with all the long-distance trucks and buses moving through. It’s a loud place to work, but it keeps things interesting. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. The Power House is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We have a lot of stone slabs sitting out in the yard, and they get quite hot when the sun is out. Our day usually starts with checking the inventory and seeing what needs to be moved around for the day's deliveries. We don't have a team of salesmen. It's just us showing the stone to whoever walks in. Sometimes it’s a contractor we’ve known for ten years, and other times it’s someone just passing through Samalkha. The work is dirty and we’re usually covered in grit by the end of the shift. We don't try to make the place look like a mall. It’s a working marble yard with stacks of stone and a small room for the paperwork. We keep it honest and just tell people what we have in stock. The wind blows a lot of dust off the G.T. Road, so we’re always hose-washing the marble so the colors show through properly for the customers.
