Keshav Fabric

Our shop, Keshav Fabric, sits on Barsat Road, not too far from the gas godown. It's a busy stretch of road and we’ve been here quite some time now. We sell different kinds of cloth and fabric for whoever needs it. It isn't a showroom with bright lights or anything like that. Just stacks of material and rolls of cloth sitting on the shelves. Most days it’s just us cutting fabric to size and talking to the people who walk in. Some are looking for something for a suit, others just want a bit of cotton for a project at home. It gets a little dusty with all the threads and lint flying around, but that's expected. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or they're heading towards the godown. The space is a bit tight when we get a lot of stock in, but we manage to find everything eventually. We aren't trying to be the biggest fabric store in town, just a place where you can get what you need without a fuss. It’s a bit of a walk from the main center, but the regulars don’t mind. We just open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the day to start. It's honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We keep the rolls tidy when we can.
