Balaji Tour & Trable

I run Balaji Tour & Trable from Village Kawi. It’s a quiet place in the Panipat district. I know the name on the registration has a little spelling mistake, but I never got around to changing it. Everyone here just calls it Balaji anyway. I have lived in Kawi all my life. Starting a travel business here was a bit of a risk, but people always need to get to the city for work or shopping. I have two cars right now. I drive one myself and my nephew drives the other. We go back and forth between Kawi and Panipat many times a day. The roads can be rough, especially after it rains, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the mud off the tires. It’s not a fancy life. I sit on a charpai outside my house and wait for the phone to ring. Usually, it’s a neighbor needing a ride to the hospital or someone going to a wedding in another town. I like the long drives at night when the roads are empty and I can think. We don't have an office with air conditioning. We just have the shade of the big neem tree. It’s a small operation, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. People in the village trust us because they’ve known us since we were kids. We just do our work and go home when the sun sets.
