Being located at Plot No. 705 in GIDC means we’re right in the middle of everything. Rangodadhi Chemicals has been here since the early days when there wasn't as much traffic on these roads. Now, it’s always loud with machines and vehicles. Our building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a plain gate and some heavy doors, but inside it’s where all the action happens. We spend most of our time dealing with the vats and making sure the chemical batches are coming out okay. It’s hard work and your hands usually end up stained by the end of the shift. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just talk to the people who buy from us and make sure they get what they asked for. Sometimes the power goes out or a pump breaks down, and we all have to jump in to fix it quickly so the whole batch isn’t ruined. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially when two trucks show up at once and there’s no room to move. But we manage to get it done. We’ve got a small break room where we eat lunch and talk about the news or whatever else is going on. It’s just a regular workplace with people who have been doing this for a long time and know the smell of the chemicals better than anything else.
