Hathi Electric Company

Hathi Electric Company is located out on Nagpur Road in Chhindwara. We’re right by the Pole Factory in the Mpeb Colony area. It’s a bit of a trek from the main town center, but it suits us fine. There’s a lot of space out here, which is good because things can get a bit cluttered with all the electric equipment and components. The air feels a bit different than it does in the middle of the city. You can see the trucks coming up the road from a long distance away. The building itself is sturdy and does the job. Inside, it’s mostly concrete floors and the smell of metal and grease. We don't have fancy carpets or glass walls. It’s the kind of place where you don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty. The guys in the Mpeb Colony know us well enough. We see them around most days. Sometimes the power flickers, which is funny given what we do, but we just laugh it off and get back to work. Chhindwara weather can be a bit harsh, either too hot or raining like there’s no tomorrow. We just keep the doors open when it's nice and hunker down when it's not. It’s a honest day's work for everyone here at the factory site, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep things moving along.
