Tirupati Vidhan Book Depo

Our shop is located over at Survey No 2297 in the Datta Ghat area. If you know where the Tambada Maruti temple is, we are just a short walk from there. It’s a quiet part of town most of the time, except during the festivals when the whole street gets crowded with people. We deal in all sorts of books and stationery. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of wall space for shelving. Most days, I’m here by myself or with one of the boys from the neighborhood who helps out with deliveries. We see a lot of the same faces every week. People come in for their daily needs or school supplies for their kids. The floors are a bit uneven because it’s an old building, but it has some character. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name on the shutter. Sometimes the rain gets a bit close to the entrance during the monsoon, so we have to move the displays back. It’s a simple life running a book depo. We keep things local and don't try to be anything we aren't. If someone needs a specific notebook or a pen, they know they can find it here. We've seen the area change a lot over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. It’s just an honest place to buy your reading materials and paper without any extra fluff.
