Siddhalingeshwara Rice Mill

You can find our mill in Annunkatte, which is in the Krishnarajpet- Taluk area. Siddhalingeshwara Rice Mill has been a part of this community for many years. We mostly work with the farmers around here. They bring their paddy to us, and we turn it into rice. The machines are pretty old and they make a lot of noise. You can hear the mill from down the road when we are really busy. There is always rice husk and dust everywhere, so we are constantly sweeping up. It’s not a clean or quiet job, but it’s what we know. We have a few local guys who help with the loading and unloading. We don't have a big office or a fancy sign. It’s just a sturdy building that does the job. When it’s harvest time, we are here from early morning until late at night. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend hours fixing them. It’s frustrating, but it’s part of the work. We don't do any marketing or anything like that. People just know where we are in Annunkatte. We don't have any big plans to expand. We just want to keep the mill running and serve the farmers in the taluk. It’s a simple, hardworking life, and we are okay with that. There isn't much more to it. We just keep processing the grain and hope for good weather.
