We are located at Plot No. 6 19 in the GIDC area of Godhra. It’s a pretty standard industrial plot where we manufacture various types of straps. The machinery we use is quite large and takes up most of the space inside the building. It creates a steady hum that you eventually stop noticing after a few hours. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small team of local people at Sahakar Straps who know how to run these machines. The weather in Godhra can be quite dusty, so we spend a fair amount of time just trying to keep the equipment clean. Our address is easy to find once you’re in the GIDC, though the roads can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. We keep a lot of rolls of material stacked up against the walls, waiting to be processed. There’s no fancy lounge or breakroom here. We usually just sit outside on some stools when we need a breather. Most of our day is spent watching the production lines because it takes a lot of attention. It’s repetitive work, but it’s important to do it right. We don't put much stock in flashy appearances. As long as the straps are strong and the machines are running, we’re doing our job. It’s a simple operation, run by people who live right here. We like the straightforward nature of it, just making things and moving them out.
