Vasant Masala Udhyog

Vasant Masala Udhyog is located right near the Market Yard in Jhalod Dahod City. It's a busy area, especially on market days. Being so close to the yard is helpful because we can see the fresh produce coming in. We process spices here. The air around our building always smells like cumin, turmeric, and chili. It makes you sneeze sometimes if you aren’t used to it. We take the raw spices and grind them down or mix them into the blends that people use for their daily cooking. It’s a messy job, and your clothes end up smelling like a kitchen by the end of the day. We’ve got a few machines that have been with us for years. They are loud, but they get the job done right. Jhalod is a place where people know their food, so we have to be careful with how we make our masalas. We don’t try to be a global company. We just want to be the place where local folks and small shops get their spices. It's a lot of hard work, especially in the heat, but we enjoy it. We take pride in the fact that our masala ends up in so many pots and pans around the city. It’s a simple business, really. We just grind spices and sell them. We stay busy and we like it that way.
