Vardhman Hospital

We call this Vardhman Nursing Home, though some people just know it as the hospital on 13 C Jail Land. It’s right in the Civil Line Edso area. The building has been around for a while and it's got that old-school feel to it. We mainly take in patients who need a place to recover or who are dealing with various illnesses. It’s not a massive facility, which I think people actually like because it doesn't feel so overwhelming. There are a few different rooms for patients and a small area for visitors. Our staff is mostly local people who live nearby. We keep things moving as best as we can. It’s not always perfectly quiet, hospitals rarely are, but we try to keep a decent environment for everyone. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or things breaking down, but we just fix them and move on. That’s just life running a business in this area. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. People stop in to ask questions or get a quick checkup. We don’t have a fancy marketing team or anything like that. We just show up every day, open the doors, and help whoever comes in. It’s straightforward work. We’ve been a part of this street for years and plan to stay that way for a long time. It is a bit worn down in places, but it works for us.
