V. M. G. Impex operates out of Kothi No. 402 Sector-10. Since it’s a kothi, it feels a lot less like a cold office and more like a place with some history. The rooms are converted into workspaces, which means we have some odd corners and cupboards that we use for storage. Sector-10 is a bit of a mix, and our spot at 402 is tucked away enough that it stays relatively quiet. You can hear the neighborhood sounds, like kids playing or the occasional vegetable seller shouting on the street. It’s a different vibe than being in a massive industrial park. We have a small porch area where we sometimes stand to take a break or talk about the day’s tasks. The stairs inside are a bit narrow, so moving heavy boxes can be a bit of a chore, but we’ve figured out a system over time. There’s a ceiling fan in every room that ticks rhythmically, which is almost soothing once you get used to it. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist at a glass desk. If you walk into Kothi No. 402, you’ll probably just see one of us walking by with a stack of papers or a cup of tea. It’s a very grounded way to work. We like the fact that it doesn't feel like a factory. We just do our thing from here, keeping it simple and focusing on the tasks we have for the week.
