We have got our office at SCO 36 in Sector-3. It is a pretty standard building, nothing that really stands out much from the outside when you're driving past. We have been here for a good while, so we know most of the people nearby and where to get the best tea when we need a break. The inside is a bit of a mess with wires and old equipment everywhere, but that is just how it goes with telecom stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phones or looking at computer screens all day. It is not exactly thrilling work, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. Sometimes the air conditioning stops working and it gets a bit stuffy, but we just open a window and keep on going. We are not a big corporation with thousands of people and fancy uniforms. There is just a small group of us here, and we all end up doing a bit of everything. One minute I might be checking a bill and the next I am trying to fix a piece of gear that has stopped working for no reason. It is a bit disorganized at times, with papers all over the table, but we usually find what we need eventually. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up and do the work. Sometimes we go for a walk in the sector during the evening just to clear our heads before going home.
