Sivam Cool Drinks Private Limited is situated in Village-Sitarpur, right along the Ambala-Chandigarh Road. It’s a great spot because of all the traffic moving between the two cities, but it also means we’re always busy. Our facility is where we mix and bottle our cool drinks. It’s a lot of work to keep the hygiene levels where they need to be, but we’re used to the routine. We have a mix of local villagers and some folks from the nearby towns working with us. We aren't some big corporate entity with offices in a skyscraper. Our "office" is usually a desk near the loading dock where we track the shipments. The roar of the trucks on the highway is the soundtrack to our day. We’ve had to learn a lot about the business as we went along, from fixing old pipes to finding the right suppliers for our ingredients. It’s not always a smooth ride; sometimes the highway gets blocked or a machine part takes forever to arrive. We just take it in stride. We don't make big promises; we just try to put out a good product that people enjoy when they’re traveling or sitting at home. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to run a business. We’re just a local company making drinks for the people around us. That is the way we like to do things in Sitarpur.
