Shirdi Art Studio

We’ve been here at Plot No.22 in the Phase-1 industrial area for quite some time now. Shirdi Art Studio isn't really a fancy place like those galleries you see in the city center. It’s mostly just us working with materials and getting our hands dirty every day. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. Being in an industrial zone means there’s always noise from the other units nearby, mostly machines humming or trucks backing up. We just get on with things. Some days are slow and we just sit around cleaning up the tools, while other times it feels like we don’t have enough hours in the day. The space is filled with bits of wood, metal, and whatever else we are using at the moment. It’s not always organized, but we know where everything is. People come by asking for specific things, and we try to see what we can do for them. There’s no big corporate office here, just a small desk and a lot of work floor. We mostly just drink tea and figure out the next project. It’s a simple setup and it works for us. Most of the people around here know us by now. We don’t do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself when someone walks into the yard and sees what’s going on.
