SCHOOL OF HOTEL AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATI

The School of Hotel and Professional Education, or SHAPE as we call it, is located in Flat 105, GH- 44, in Sector 20 of Panchkula. It is a bit unusual to have a school in a flat, but it works for what we are trying to do. We teach people the ropes of the hotel industry and other professional skills. The space is a bit tight sometimes when we have a lot of people in, but it makes for a more personal environment. Panchkula is a nice place to be, a bit calmer than some of the other cities nearby. We spend our days talking to students and organizing the classes. There’s always someone coming or going, and the flat is rarely quiet during the day. We’ve got some basic equipment for training and a few tables set up for lessons. It isn’t a massive campus with a library and a cafeteria, but we teach what needs to be taught. Most of us here have worked in hotels before, so we know the reality of the job. We try to pass that on to whoever comes through our door. The address in Sector 20 is easy enough to find once you get into the housing complex. We just do the teaching part and try to help people get started in their careers. It's a small, local effort and we just take it one day at a time. We don't have fancy brochures, just real talk about the industry and what it takes to work in it.
