Santosh & Company is located at 683, Main Market in the Panchkula district. Being in the main market means we are right in the thick of things. There’s a lot of foot traffic outside our doors every single day. The shop is narrow but goes back quite a way, and we have shelves stacked high with all sorts of items. It’s hard to keep everything perfectly tidy with so many people coming in and out, but we do our best. We’ve seen the market change over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but we’ve stayed right here. Our customers are mostly locals who have been buying from us for a long time. We don’t bother with big advertisements; the location itself does enough. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear, but you get used to the shouting of vendors and the honking of cars. We spend most of our time behind the counter, helping whoever walks in. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a big delivery, and boxes end up piled on the floor for a few hours. We don’t have a fancy corporate structure, just a family-run feel where everyone chips in. It’s a busy life in Panchkula, and we’re just happy to be part of the daily market routine.
